The Circular Studio was founded on bringing preloved curated clothing to the local community at affordable prices. We have created a fluid community space that allows everyone to shop comfortably. Our mission is to not only re-think clothing and its next stages in life, but to offer clothing for all sizes and genders - but we are always working to improve this. We focus on teaching positive change to re-think you're unwanted items. Our popular event Second Hand Saturday is a great way to refresh your wardrobe while clearing out items you no longer wear.
Sam had started reselling when she left her marketing job in May 2023. It was something she enjoyed doing mainly as an outlet. She never would have expected by May the following year to have 2 locations and a team of 3.
Sam got the keys to her first unit, unaware she would launch what is now The Circular Studio 3 months later. Her plan was to launch SCND HND and continue reselling as a hobby.
In those 3 months, the unit inspired her to create her own community of like-minded people after moving back from England and feeling disconnected. However, The Circular Studio only opened one day a week for Second Hand Saturday.
After a few weeks, Sam took a risk and opened up a second site at the container market in Caerphilly. She was able to grow the business presence and connect with her community, while also adding menswear to her collection.
